The Velvet Part Of The Moon

Wandering alone on a solitary beach
Wandering alonne on the shore
I heard a man laughing and shouting at the moon
Foolish and fearless enjoying the angry sea
Enjoying his stormy sea
Over the stillness of a crystal pool
Never be broken by a stone thrown in
I heard a whisper calling the endless skies
Sweeping away all the noises on the earth
All the greys of the tones
Like a snowflake lights the darkness of my mind
The wildness of my thoughts
When the mistral will come from the North
A new wind will turn its madness in a gentle breeze
Full of promises and fables to be told
As passing by the lonely castle wall
I saw the King's ruthless hand
Freeing sweetly his favourite white steed
Stroking and soothing the velvet muzzle shone
A twinkle in his eyes
The wizard shifts curtains of the world
Lilies and roses strewn on the floor
Where the children are playing a new wise game
Taught to them by storytellers who dance and play
Living in a flame
Then the shadows will turn in glowing shapes
Will turn in glowing shapes
When the mistral will come from the North
A new wind will turn its madness in a gentle breeze
Full of promises and fables to be told

       Poem To Vincent

My thoughts feel this song and live in their own way
They’re written in a prison where I died yesterday
If you listen to me now and hear these fragile notes
And these words open the time of the window of your soul
Than you’ll realize what I’m trying to say
And when my mind is free from raging clouds and fears
It’s hiding away in an open sea
And I paint clowns and Pierrot in my mind
Loving this life that sometimes doesn’t hear me
But I hear it
My colours ceased their fight in the sunset of a dawn
And my eyes saw the brightness of the palette turning stark
But I do paint rainbows even when the sky is dull
And I paint clowns and Pierrot in my mind
Leaving this life that now doesn’t hear me
And I don’t hear

   Togetherness

Every day and every night

There’s a flower in my mind

That is not so far away
When you hold my hand it’s another perfect day
When I look into your eyes I can feel you pull away
Why are you so unsure
You can decide tonight while tomorrow is mine
When you embrace me you enrich my heart
Fail me and even I may fall apart tonight
There’s a part in all of us
That’s a little insecure
Which I need you to embrace
Make me feel secure hold me in your arms
Bare in mind that tiny part
That’s a little insecure
Which I don’t want you to hurt
Take away my pain stay with me tonight
If you don’t worry and leave the day behind

Whatever happens it will be all right tonight

      The Distance Of The Night

Like air that comes to rest on the wings of a flame

And the flame becomes so shy at the radiance of your face

When your dreams reflect my soul through the mirror of your eyes
In your eyes I see your heart hiding on a desert star
Just a leaf in stormy winds sheltered by a gentle kiss
I will see your thoughts again on a sprinkling of snow
And like snow beneath the sun unafraid of the heat
I will sleep without fear since your dreams are by my side
How sweet is your smile for so long my serenade
It wakes me up in spring and is my only word
And without you these words would never be a song
Without you this song wouldn’t be about love
And while this love is far away searching for the deepest joy
I will feel your distant breath just the time to say “enough”
It’s enough to say I feel like a ship without its port
It’s enough to say I am like a knight without his sword
Letters never written and lying by the fire
This fire is so warm it makes me feel alone
And now a violin is playing our poem’s melody
It’s your voice calling me from the colours of the night
It’s your voice calling me in the darkness of the light

It’s your whisper calling me from the distance of the night

       Candlelight

Fly I want to fly
I want a world in another sky

Fly I like to fly
I want a wish in another place
How many years how many times
I saw my dreams lying upsidedown
How many tears how many eyes
Looking at me at my soul inside

I see the flame I see the light
I see the candle that will never die

Fly I want to fly
I want to dance in the candlelight
Fly I like to fly
I want to live in a fairytale
How many hopes how many kites
Will fly again in the summertime
How many doubts how many lies
That I can feel even in my mind
I see the flame I see the light
I see the candle that will never die
I want the light the mystic flame
Breathing slowly in a silent night
Fly I want to fly
The clouds are drifting in a timeless sky
Light I want the light
I want the flame enchanted by all time
Light I want the light

Light I want the light
